As a teacher, I encourage a sense of exploration with my students. I believe that a strong foundation of technical singing is the blank canvas with which any singer can explore the vast world of music. It’s important to respect each student’s unique interests; a journey with music cannot be contained into a singular, rigid track. Within this exploration, however, it’s crucial to provide accountability for progress.
